I recently had the chance to be featured in Escape Magazine, sharing part of my journey as a comedy juggler Sydney audiences have seen perform around Australia and internationally.
Seeing the article in print was a pretty surreal moment, especially reflecting on how this all started, from joining circus school as a teenager through to performing at festivals, theatres, corporate events, and cruise ships around the world.

From Circus School to International Stages
I joined the Flying Fruit Fly Circus when I was 14 years old.
At the time, I just loved performing and making people laugh. I never imagined it would eventually become a full-time international career.
Over the years, that journey has taken me across Australia and overseas performing comedy juggling shows for audiences of all ages.
As a comedy juggler Sydney event organisers hire for corporate events, festivals, family days, and special events, I’ve learned that every audience is different, and that’s what keeps live entertainment exciting.

Learning Through Travel
One thing performing internationally teaches you very quickly is that humour changes from country to country.
Different cultures laugh at different things, and adapting to audiences has been one of the most valuable parts of travelling as a performer.
Whether performing in Japan, Singapore, Europe, New Zealand, or onboard international cruise ships, every experience has shaped the style of comedy and audience interaction I bring to events today.
That ability to read a room and connect with people is something clients often value when booking live entertainment for corporate functions and events.
The Singapore Story
One of the more chaotic moments mentioned in the article happened while travelling through Singapore.
Authorities believed my juggling props could potentially be weapons, which led to me being detained for several hours while trying to explain they were simply performance equipment for my show.
Eventually everything was sorted out, although I unfortunately lost the props.
It definitely became one of those stories that sounds crazier every time I retell it.
Why Live Entertainment Matters
After performing professionally for over 20 years, one thing has stayed consistent, people remember experiences that make them feel something.
Laughter creates connection.
Whether it’s a corporate gala, community festival, awards night, theatre show, or major public event, live entertainment has the ability to bring people together in a genuine way.
That’s always been the goal of my performances, creating memorable moments audiences actually talk about afterwards.

Being featured in Escape was a great reminder of how unusual and rewarding this career has been so far, and I’m incredibly grateful for every audience, venue, and client that has supported the journey.
